The table below (table A-9) provides the most commonly used coefficients for this purpose. The frequencies are expressed as Orders. To obtain bearing defect frequencies in Hz, multiply the bearing coefficient by the rotating speed in revolutions per second. Example: 9104-series bearing retainer frequency shaft running at 1200 RPM: 1200 RPM x 1 min/60 seconds x 0.398 = 7.96 Hz.
